three Xmas favs

I'm sappy, you all know it. Christmas songs can be quite sappy, so we get along pretty well. In fact, i love hearing Christmas music, almost all of it. It makes people smile, and sing along, and be just a little less self-aware.

This is one of my favorites, and although i thought it would be right there on my computer waiting for me yet again this year, it wasn't. I went and found it, so you wouldn't have to. Chris Martin is just as sappy as i am, you can tell.

Speaking of Tori Amos.... my all-time favorite Christmas track would have to be her rendition of Little Drummer Boy. This recording is off of an old German bootleg that I found in a recordstore in LA over ten years ago. It's a little quiet at the start so turn it up.

And then one last one, just in case there's someone out there that doesn't have this song yet. This one was on the first A Very Special Christmas album, which seemed to start a flurry of Xmas CDs for years to come.

Listen : U2 - Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)

Hey Joe,

Thanks for the festive holiday music. It provided the soundtrack for my Christmas at home with the kids.

Merry Christmas,
Simply Susie
