#9 Dream (John Lennnon cover) - R.E.M.

There must be people out there in the world that see atrocity and think to themselves "if John Lennon were still alive he'd be raising holy hell about this..." And then we go back to sipping our Starbucks™ vanilla-halfcaf-latté-with-an-extra-shot.

But maybe while we're sitting in that Starbucks™, this song will come on, and after we think about how good it is that Stipe didn't try too hard to sound like Lennon, and how much better the band is with Berry back, and try to recall the last REM song that really grabbed us.... maybe then we'll think about the genocide in Darfur, which i guess is why they released this one.
