Jimmy Chamberlain---Streetcrawler (alt mix)

test. test.
This bit is from Jimmy Chamberlain's (former drummer of the smashing pumpkins & zwan) prog-jazz outfit. This song has that strange quality of movement in song, where it starts in one spot and not once does it go back there with its beat. For whatever reason when I hear this song I think of driving on a freeway very fast away from something/someone at night. This one in particular is an alternate mix of the one that appears on the record. It has Mike Garson playing piano it. (He was the touring keyboardist for TSP twice.)

( song links are only good for 7 days or 25 downloads.

Is this in honor of Billy teasing us with the possibility of a Pumpkins reunion?

i wouldn't have taken you for a progress jazz fan. given the strong drum presence i can see why you're drawn to it. funny how musicians turn out.
